During his time as Head of the Board until the day of his arrest, Lien repeatedly requested advances and received maintenance funds from the investor in the amount of more than 1.1 billion VND.
In addition to using this money to repair damaged building items and prevent storms and floods, Lien also transferred money to her personal account and advanced a sum. The Hue City Police Department searched Lien's residence and seized many documents of false declarations and expenses, but could not prove the purpose of maintaining and repairing the apartment building.
