Miracle of Vietnamese steel in the exhibition space of 80 years of national achievements

With more than three decades in the steel structure industry, Dai Dung Group participated in the 80-year socio-economic achievements exhibition as one of the leading enterprises, and is also the main unit in charge of the steel structure category of the Vietnam Exhibition Center.

Since the end of August, Dong Anh area (Hanoi) has been bustling with visitors when the Exhibition of 80 years of socio -economic achievements officially opened. At Hall 2 - "Economic Locomotive Area", Dai Dung Group's exhibition space appeared with the story throughout more than 30 years of formation and development, associated with major projects at home and abroad.

For this enterprise, the three-decade journey is not only about the number of projects built, but also about the determination to overcome difficulties of a Vietnamese mechanical unit that dares to take on projects that many international contractors once considered "unimaginable".

The most obvious highlight of that journey is the Vietnam Exhibition Center, where this exhibition event takes place.

This is a project with a giant dome with a diameter of nearly 360m, the steel frame volume is up to tens of thousands of tons. Notably, the item that was originally calculated to be constructed within two years was shortened to about ten months. This requires not only design and manufacturing capacity, but also the ability to organize construction at the level of precision to the millimeter.

It is in this project that the name Dai Dung is associated with the phrase “miracle”. According to experts, to complete a massive steel block at such a rapid pace, in addition to technology, it requires special determination and collective discipline.

Dai Dung Group said that at this exhibition, Dai Dung's booth did not focus on showing off but focused on introducing important milestones, from projects that exceeded domestic technical standards, international cooperation projects, to the Vietnam Exhibition Center - where Vietnamese brands contribute to affirming their capacity in the field of large-scale steel structures.

For many visitors, these are not only images introducing the project, but also a way to see more clearly the journey of a Vietnamese enterprise gradually penetrating deeply into the global playing field.

According to Dai Dung, the exhibition of 80 years of socio-economic achievements is an opportunity for the public to look back at the country's development journey, through each industry and each enterprise. In that space, the presence of foundational industrial enterprises like Dai Dung shows the persistent efforts of the private sector in upgrading production technology, participating in national projects, and accompanying the international integration process.

30 years ago, Dai Dung started as a mechanical workshop. More than three decades later, this enterprise has become one of the steel structure contractors capable of undertaking projects of regional and global scale. That journey, according to experts, is one of the clear evidences of the maturity of Vietnam's industry in general.

Visitors can find many success stories in different fields at the exhibition. But stopping at Dai Dung's space, many people will directly see the "miracle" mark of Vietnamese steel - large-scale projects, dramatically shortened progress, and the aspiration to bring Vietnamese brands far and wide.

The exhibition will last from August 28 to September 5, 2025. During that time, Dai Dung Group hopes to share not only the achievements after more than 30 years, but also the belief that the Vietnamese steel structure industry can continue to conquer new challenges.
