The 2024 Lai Chau Provincial Party Building Journalism Award accepts works published and broadcast from November 1, 2023 to October 1, 2024. The types include: printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio, television, and press photos. The press genres considered for awards include: reflection articles, interviews, notes, comments, essays, reports, memoirs, investigations, radio and television programs, documentaries, multimedia press products, press photos (press photo series, photo reportage).

As a result, 136 works participated in the award, the content of the works raised new issues on the Party building work of the province and attracted public attention; reflecting the Party building work of the province in all aspects: politics , ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, in the fields of organization - cadre work, propaganda, inspection, mass mobilization, protecting the ideological foundation of the Party; fighting against self-evolution, self-transformation... The Organizing Committee selected 89 works that met the requirements of the award rules.
At the Conference, delegates approved regulations on scoring entries; assigned tasks to members of the Jury and Secretariat; discussed scoring scales for entries; awarded points for entries made in remote, border areas and in difficult conditions, epidemics, storms and floods, etc.
