Lai Chau has many attractive activities on the occasion of Independence Day 2025

From August 30 to September 2, 2025, Lai Chau province will organize a series of activities for the 2025 Independence Day in Than Uyen commune at the provincial level. The event will be organized with many rich activities, imbued with national cultural identity, harmoniously combining traditional festivals with local cultural, sports and tourism activities.

During the 4 days of the event, many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities will be held simultaneously in the communes of Than Uyen, Muong Kim, Khoen On, Muong Than. The highlight is the international race KOMOMO Than Uyen 2025, gathering professional and amateur athletes from the country and abroad. Along with that are community activities such as Nam Pat market, "Non nuoc Khoen On" festival, "Huong sac Muong Than" festival, where visitors can immerse themselves in a unique cultural space with night markets, ethnic sports, folk games, ethnic fashion shows, experience bathing, soaking feet in traditional medicinal herbs of the Dao people...

A series of traditional, sacred and meaningful activities will also be held such as: Martyrs' Cemetery Visit Ceremony, Incense Offering Ceremony at Ban Luot Historical Site, Flag Raising Ceremony to celebrate National Day September 2, contributing to educating the young generation about patriotism and remembering the source of water.

Independence Day 2025 with many attractive activities, imbued with cultural identity will take place in 04 days (from August 30 - September 2, 2025)

At the central area of ​​Than Uyen commune and auxiliary spaces, many activities will last throughout the event such as: displaying and introducing OCOP products and typical agricultural products (20 booths), "Lai Chau's fragrance and color" art photo exhibition, exhibition space for books, newspapers, geographical documents, paragliding performance with engine, experiencing folk games with prizes, recreating the cultural space of four ethnic groups Thai, Mong, Dao, Kho Mu through festivals, traditional crafts, cuisine , art performances and cultural exchanges.

On the evening of September 1, the Art Program to celebrate Independence Day and the Solidarity Xoe Dance will be held at Than Uyen Commune Stadium, gathering a large number of artisans, artists, professional and non-professional actors, along with the participation of delegates, people and tourists. On the morning of September 2, the traditional swallow-tail boat race on Than Uyen Lake will take place. Immediately after that, the Closing Ceremony of the Independence Day Program 2025 will be held at Than Uyen Commune Center.

Along with the main activities, visitors can also explore and experience prominent destinations such as: pine hill in zone 7, Love Hill in zone 9, Pa Khom bay, Tham Phe fishing village, Sang Nga water wheel... creating an attractive and close-knit picture of eco-tourism and community.

It is expected that more than 800 delegates, artists, athletes, reporters, businesses and tourists will participate. The 2025 Independence Day event promises to bring visitors vivid experiences imbued with Lai Chau.
