Many houses in Hong Thai commune ( Lam Dong province) had their roofs blown off and were damaged due to rain and strong winds.
On July 11, Mr. Phan Thanh Phuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Thai commune, said that previously, on the evening of July 10, heavy rain occurred in Tri Thai village, accompanied by strong winds, causing 7 houses and 2 cow barns to have their roofs blown off and many rice fields to be damaged.
Of these, 3 houses had their roofs completely blown off , leaving only the walls, causing damage to many household appliances. The remaining houses also had their roofs slightly blown off. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Upon receiving the news, the People's Committee, police, military and militia forces of the commune were present at the scene to help severely damaged houses move their property to avoid further damage. Currently, commune officials are also calculating the damage to report to the province.
