Specifically, during the natural disasters from November 16th to 26th, Lam Dong province had 23 houses that needed to be rebuilt, and construction has now begun on all 23 houses.
During the heavy rains and floods in early December 2025, Lam Dong province had 17 houses damaged and requiring reconstruction. To date, construction has begun on 12 houses (reaching 70.6%). In addition, Lam Dong province has also repaired 54 out of 82 houses damaged by the floods.

On December 17th, returning to Lam Tuyen 1 village, D'ran commune (Lam Dong province), we witnessed a "rapid" transformation. Just 10 days prior, the land where Mr. Mai Ngoc Hiep lives was still empty, only being cleared by officers and soldiers of the 5th Division (Military Region 7). Now, a sturdy house with brick walls, reinforced concrete columns, and a corrugated iron roof has been built.

Mr. Mai Ngoc Hiep (Lam Tuyen 1 village) expressed his gratitude: "This timely support will help us quickly have stable housing, feel secure in our work, and recover after the flood."

During the recent floods, Lam Dong province also had 668 other houses damaged. With the support of the military, police, philanthropists, and the collective efforts of the people, repairs and restoration have been completed. Currently, the households have returned to normal life in their own homes.
Lam Dong province aims to complete the repair of damaged houses for affected households before December 20th and to complete the construction of new houses for those whose houses collapsed before January 15th, 2026.
