Lam Dong approves policy to support cadres and public employees...

On July 16, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, Term X, 2021-2026, held its 2nd Session, a regular mid-year meeting, to review and decide on a number of issues within its authority. Delegates passed many important resolutions to promote socio -economic development, after operating the 2-level local government apparatus.

At the meeting, after reviewing the submission of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee on the proposal to issue a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council stipulating support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to work at the provincial and commune administrative centers after reorganization in Lam Dong province.

Comrade Tran Hong Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province spoke at the meeting.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Council discussed and agreed to issue a Resolution regulating policies to support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels.

Accordingly, in addition to receiving a one-time support of 10 million VND at the time of receiving the assignment, each cadre, civil servant, public employee and worker will also receive a travel allowance of 2 million VND/month and accommodation allowance of 3 million VND/month. For provincial-level cadres and employees assigned to work at the commune level, the one-time support at the time of receiving the assignment is 10 million VND/person (excluding provincial-level civil servants assigned to work in the wards: Xuan Huong-Da Lat, Lam Vien-Da Lat, Lang Biang-Da Lat, Cam Ly-Da Lat, Xuan Truong-Da Lat, Bac Gia Nghia, Nam Gia Nghia, Dong Gia Nghia, Ham Thang, Binh Thuan , Mui Ne, Phu Thuy, Phan Thiet, Tien Thanh, Tuyen Quang). It is expected that the total budget for travel and accommodation support will be more than 68.6 billion VND from the state budget.

Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Lam Dong province, spoke at the session.

At the meeting, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council also passed a Resolution on solutions to implement the socio-economic development tasks in the last 6 months of 2025 with specific targets such as growth rate (GRDP) in 2025 from 8% or more; GRDP per capita reaching 100 million VND; striving for state budget revenue in 2025 to reach 28,250 billion VND; striving for the disbursement rate of public investment capital by the end of 2025 to reach 100% of the assigned plan; total number of tourists through accommodation registration in 2025 to reach over 18 million visitors...

A number of other important resolutions were also passed, such as: Resolution on allocating state budget capital to implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025 with a total budget of VND 292.1 billion; Resolution on state budget revenue estimates in the area, local budget revenue and expenditure estimates, budget allocation after the rearrangement of provincial-level administrative units and the organization of two-level local governments.
