A sleeper bus was traveling on Highway 1 (Hong Son commune, Lam Dong province) when it suddenly caught fire.
According to initial information, at around 10:30 p.m., a sleeper bus carrying more than 20 passengers was traveling on National Highway 1, heading north-south. When it reached Km1672 (in Hong Son commune), the bus suddenly caught fire, so the driver stopped the bus. Many passengers quickly escaped from the bus.
At the same time, many people around helped to put out the fire. However, the fire still flared up strongly, burning the entire car.

Upon receiving the news, the provincial Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force arrived at the scene to put out the fire. However, the passenger bus was burned to the frame.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
