Spreading the 'Digital Literacy for All' movement in residential areas

With the motto "Go to every alley, knock on every door, go to every location", the Youth Union members of Binh Thanh ward directly supported and guided people to perform basic operations to access digital technology platforms on mobile phones in residential areas, community activity locations...

This is a regular activity deployed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward to respond to the "Digital Education for All" Movement in 68 communes, wards and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City to support the entire population to enjoy the benefits of digital technology in a practical and close way.

Youth Union members of Binh Thanh ward directly support elderly people in using applications installed on mobile phones in the neighborhoods.

Specifically, the support content will focus on installing and using essential applications such as the national public service portal, VNEID, VSSID (digital social insurance), ETAX (electronic tax), SOS security and order, thereby helping people conveniently look up information, perform online administrative procedures, send feedback, ensure security and order and personal safety on mobile devices.

The activities have received positive responses from a large number of people, especially the elderly, traders, and members of organizations, thereby contributing to raising awareness, skills, and confidence in the digital transformation process.

Youth Union members of Binh Thanh ward support people in performing level 2 identification on the VNEID platform of the Ministry of Public Security .

After being guided by volunteers, most elderly people can easily look up information on the Ministry of Public Security's VNEID platform.

The program demonstrated the sense of responsibility and close coordination between the Fatherland Front and member organizations, promoting the core role of union members and youth in accompanying the people, to build digital citizens from communes and wards in the city.
