Lang Son: Two people were swept away by water while crossing an underground bridge.

At around 3:30 p.m. on June 27, an accident occurred at the underground bridge area in Dong But village, Yen Binh commune, Huu Lung district, Lang Son province, leaving two people missing due to being swept away by water.

According to information from the leaders of the People's Committee of Yen Binh commune, the two victims were father and son, residing in Huu Lung town. The son was about 30 years old, the father was over 60 years old, leading a bicycle across a 100m long underground bridge, across the Trung River.

At that time, the water level at the underground bridge was about 40cm, but after moving a short distance, the son slipped and fell into the river. The father rushed after him to keep his son from drifting away, but both victims were swept away by the water.

Currently, local authorities have organized a search for the missing people. However, due to the darkness, the rain in the area, the Trung River rising high and flowing fast, the search for the victims is facing many difficulties.
