Leaders of political parties and countries congratulate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on his birthday

On the occasion of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's birthday (April 14), in recent days, many leaders of countries and political parties have sent letters and telegrams of congratulations to the General Secretary, including leaders of countries and parties from Laos, China, Cuba, Russia, Belarus, and the Dominican Republic.

Leaders of countries and political parties congratulated Vietnam on its great and outstanding achievements in development and national construction under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; and affirmed that they will continue to work with the General Secretary to promote the continuous development of bilateral relations.

Lao General Secretary andPresident Thongloun Sisoulith emphasized that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong “pays close attention to and actively contributes to nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, two states and peoples of Laos and Vietnam, preserving that fine tradition forever green and everlasting.”

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping affirmed that he “highly values the China-Vietnam relationship and is willing to maintain strategic exchanges with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to guide the building of a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future in depth and substance.”

First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz Canel emphasized that “the personal contributions of Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong are decisive in leading the Communist Party of Vietnam on the path of building socialism in Vietnam.”

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin highly appreciated the invaluable contributions of the General Secretary “to the development of the Russia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership”. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation M. Mishustin and Chairman of the United Russia Party, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation D. Medvedev especially emphasized the great contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in strengthening the friendship, mutual understanding and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation G. Zyuganov affirmed that “the whole life of the General Secretary is closely linked to the formation, development, consolidation of the ranks, the growth and increasing prestige of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the international arena”.
