On the afternoon of December 19, on the occasion of Christmas 2024 and preparing to welcome the new year 2025, the delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - City Steering Committee for Religious Affairs led by Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Do Anh Tuan visited and congratulated Cua Bac Parish.

Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Do Anh Tuan expressed his joy to visit Father Phao Lo Nguyen Trung Thien - Parish Priest of Cua Bac Parish, and the members of the Parish Council on the occasion of Christmas 2024 and in preparation for welcoming the New Year 2025. On behalf of the leaders of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission wished the Parish Priest, dignitaries, officials and all Catholics of Cua Bac Parish a peaceful and happy Christmas and a new year.

On this occasion, Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Do Anh Tuan informed the Parish Priest about some of the outstanding achievements of the Capital in 2024. Accordingly, Hanoi has achieved and exceeded 23/24 planned targets; notably, the Capital's economy maintained higher growth than the same period, expected to reach 6.52% (same period in 2023 reached 6.27%); GRDP is about 58 billion USD; total state budget revenue is estimated to reach 120.5% of the estimate (about 492,000 billion VND).

The City directs the implementation of key, immediate tasks. At the same time, actively and proactively carry out strategic, long-term tasks that are important for the sustainable development of the Capital. Directs the successful organization of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital. Social security work is guaranteed, social policies are implemented promptly, fully, and to the right subjects.

Contributing to those results, Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Do Anh Tuan affirmed that it was thanks to the unanimity, consensus, and support of all classes of the Capital's people, including Catholics and priests and dignitaries of Cua Bac Parish.

Emphasizing that 2025 is a year of special importance, the Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission said that Hanoi will focus on leading and directing the organization of Party Congresses at all levels; focus on removing bottlenecks and limitations in the development process; be determined to be exemplary and take the lead in the new era, the era of national growth. At the same time, expressing his belief and hope that with the spirit of "living the gospel in the heart of the nation" and the direction of the Catholic Church of Vietnam "accompanying the nation to serve the happiness of the people", promoting the tradition of living "good life, good religion", the Parish Priest, dignitaries, officials and Catholics of Cua Bac Parish will always promote the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, joining hands and unanimity to build the Capital to be more civilized and prosperous.

Thanking the City leaders for their affection and concern for Catholics in general and the people of Cua Bac Parish in particular, Father Phaolo Nguyen Trung Thien expressed his joy at the development of the Capital. At the same time, he wished to continue implementing policies to create conditions for Catholics to live well, live a good life, and build a peaceful and happy life.
