
On the morning of September 1, the delegation of the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led by Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly delegation visited the exhibition "Cultural and heroic capital Hanoi - 80 years of journey with the country" and "Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space 2025" at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (VEC, Dong Anh commune, Hanoi).
The delegation included Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, leaders of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments, branches, sectors, and organizations...
The milestones of 80 years of journey with the country
At the beginning, the delegation visited the 700m2 exhibition space of Hanoi city located in the "Rich province, strong country" exhibition area of Division 1 "Vietnam - journey to a new era". The exhibition space here was chaired and coordinated by the Hanoi Institute of Socio-Economic Research with the theme "Cultural and heroic capital Hanoi - 80 years of journey with the country".
Here, the exhibition content is divided into 3 spaces: Space 1 with the name "Hanoi forever echoes the heroic song" aims to recreate the context of Hanoi associated with historical milestones of the struggle for independence, freedom, peace and national unification.

Space 2, titled “Reconstruction, innovation and development with the country”, displays achievements in economic restoration and development after the war to liberate the South and unify the country; and socio-economic achievements in 40 years of innovation.
Space 3 is "New development thinking - building a civilized - modern - globally connected capital" introducing the development orientation of the capital Hanoi "Civilized - Modern - Globally connected".
The spaces are implemented in many diverse display methods such as models, artifacts, documentaries, and panel images, especially integrated with interactive technology, digital technology applications, AI, robots combined with sound and light installation.


The journey from millennial heritage to breakthrough technology
Next, the delegation visited the "Hanoi 2025 Traditional and Creative Space". This is one of the largest exhibition areas for units and localities within the framework of the Exhibition "80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness". The space is organized on an area of 15,000m2 in the outdoor area to the right of the Vietnam Exhibition Center.

In the context of the country entering a new stage of development, with the aspiration for strength and prosperity, Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space 2025 is a message affirming the aspiration of the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital to arouse the spirit of Thang Long, join hands, seize opportunities, overcome challenges, build a "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" Capital, prosperous, happy, pioneering with the whole country to enter a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
With the theme “Tradition and Creativity”, Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space 2025 is designed as a continuous journey, where viewers can go back in time to the thousand-year heritage, then step into a modern space with advanced technology and breakthrough initiatives.

Hanoi Party Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai and the city delegation visited all 6 exhibition areas, recreating the development journey of the capital from tradition to modernity.





The “Scarlett Beauty of Hanoi” area displays exquisite handicraft products from traditional craft villages such as Bat Trang ceramics, Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan weaving, Kieu Ky gold-plated, Chuyen My mother-of-pearl inlay, Ngu Xa bronze casting, Chuong village hats, Vac village fans, etc. Each product is the crystallization of the talent and passion of artisans, and at the same time a witness to the enduring creativity of Hanoians.
The "Quintessence of Craft Streets" area is where artisans demonstrate the process of creating sophisticated products such as gold and silver, wood carving, embroidery, lotus silk making, silk weaving...
The “Pioneering Technology” area displays high-tech products such as AI, digital technology, and semiconductor industry, introducing the image of a Hanoi that proactively grasps pioneering technology, is dynamic, and confidently enters a new era.

The “Gifts of Hanoi” area honors culinary quintessence such as Com Lang Vong, Bach Diep lotus tea, Uoc Le ham, lotus longan tea, dried apricots, etc. This is a highlight of the extremely rich and attractive culinary culture treasure of the Capital.
The “Source of Culture” area recreates the flow of heritage through the experience of listening to ca tru, cheo, and xam. This is a place to inspire the younger generation to preserve and continue traditions.
The “Village in the City” area is a bio-scenery space recreating the village gate, communal house roof, banyan tree, well, with the image of Saint Giong placed in the center, bringing viewers back to the memories of the Northern countryside in the heart of a modern city, evoking the desire to fly up in the new era.



Thousands of people and tourists also visited the Hanoi 2025 Traditional and Creative Space this morning. Besides the Exhibition "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey", two exhibition spaces in Hanoi took place from August 28 and are expected to end on September 5.
