
Also participating in the delegation were Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy, representatives of departments, branches and the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of the city.
The activity is part of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day.

At Thi Nghe Nursing Home, the delegation visited five artists including: Artist Huynh Thanh Tra; artist and writer Le Trung Can (Mac Can); Meritorious Artist Tran Thi Hien (Dieu Hien); artist Nguyen Thi Dang (Ngoc Dang), and artist Le Huu Son (Lam Son).
Here, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Phuoc Loc visited and listened to the thoughts and aspirations of the artists, expressing the gratitude of the city's leaders and people for the tireless contributions of the artists to the development of literature and art as well as preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the nation.
Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc wished the artists good health and longevity, and continued to impart valuable experiences to the next generation of artists, as well as contribute ideas to the city's leadership and management of the fields of literature and art.


At the private homes of artists including writer Xuan Phuong, People's Artist Tra Giang, musician Pham Minh Tuan, and artist Le Giang, the delegation visited, expressed gratitude, and wished the artists good health and longevity.
