At the meeting, Mr. Do Huy Son, Principal of Binh Thuan College, reported on the implementation results of the school's Development Strategy for 2025.
Up to now, the school has enrolled 6,939/5,500 assigned targets, reaching a rate of 126.2%. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 49 science and technology products/20 assigned targets, exceeding the assigned target by 145%.
At the meeting, the School Council discussed many contents related to the results of implementing the school development strategy, from which to make adjustments and supplements suitable to reality.
The school board discussed and exchanged on training plans, linking with businesses to link training with job creation for students.
In addition, the School Board has proposed issues related to facilities to meet training needs in the coming time.
Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of Binh Thuan College Council acknowledged the school's efforts to overcome difficulties in the past time.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh agreed with some of the school's recommendations, such as requesting the Department of Finance to soon give opinions on supporting living expenses for pedagogical students; requesting the Department of Education and Training to advise competent authorities on solutions to compensate for the difference between tuition fees and training standards.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh assigned the School Board to have a written report on each specific content, to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration.
