On the afternoon of October 19, the People's Committee of Bao Lam 2 Commune said that the work of disbursing compensation money to households in the Dai Nga Bridge area is being urgently implemented. 4/5 households subject to compensation have received money and handed over the site, creating conditions for the construction unit to continue completing the road connecting to the new bridge.

The total area recovered for the connecting road is 2,787.8 m², including 131.6 m² of residential land, 1,798.9 m² of agricultural land and 857.3 m² of land within the road boundary. The total compensation cost is more than 3.94 billion VND, of which 1.65 billion VND has been disbursed to households that have handed over the land. There is still one household with a compensation amount of more than 1 billion VND that has not yet been received. The local government is continuing to mobilize and dialogue so that people can agree and soon complete the compensation work.

According to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, Dai Nga bridge is a part of the project to renovate the section through Mimosa pass and some works on National Highway 20, approved by the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction ) with a total investment of 441 billion VND, implemented in the period 2023-2025.
To date, the 10.4 km long Mimosa Pass route has been completed; of the 11 bridges in the project, 9 have been completed, and 10 have had their construction sites handed over. The Dai Nga Bridge – which will be completed by the end of 2024 – has yet to be put into use due to problems with the connecting road site.
Meanwhile, every day thousands of vehicles still travel through the old Dai Nga bridge, which is narrow and seriously degraded, posing a potential risk to traffic safety.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to closely coordinate with local authorities to speed up compensation and site clearance work, promptly complete Dai Nga Bridge and the entire National Highway 20 through the area, ensuring progress, quality and safety for traffic participants.
After receiving the land from the households, the construction unit is urgently leveling and completing the connecting road, striving to open Dai Nga bridge to traffic as soon as possible, meeting the expectations of the people and the needs of trade on this vital traffic route.
