The delegation of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Quang Tri province led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang offered incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Highway 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Special National Monument Memorial and Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery.

Attending the ceremony were alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Standing members of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, unions, and armed forces.

At the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, the resting place of nearly 10,300 martyrs who sacrificed their lives on the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, the delegation laid wreaths, offered incense and observed a moment of silence, expressing deep gratitude to the country's outstanding sons who sacrificed their lives for independence, freedom and the nation's longevity.

At the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Route 9, where the graves of nearly 11,000 AHLS, including main force soldiers, local soldiers, militia and guerrillas, and youth volunteers, who fought and served on the Route 9 front and in Laos during the resistance war against the US to save the country, the delegation respectfully offered flowers, incense and paid tribute in a solemn and emotional atmosphere.

The delegation offered incense and flowers at the Memorial of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, an immortal symbol of the indomitable will and revolutionary heroism during 81 days and nights of fierce fighting in the fiery summer of 1972. The delegates expressed their deep gratitude to the tens of thousands of soldiers who fell to protect every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited Ba Doc Martyrs Cemetery, the resting place of more than 3,000 AHLS who heroically sacrificed their lives in the two resistance wars for independence, national reunification and noble international missions. Offering incense to the graves, the delegates expressed their deep gratitude to the AHLS who heroically sacrificed their lives for today's independence and freedom.

Before the heroic souls of the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Quang Tri province vow to unite as one, continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, and constantly strive to build the province to become increasingly rich, strong, and civilized, worthy of the great sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers.
This is an opportunity to remind today's and future generations to cherish the value of peace , foster patriotism and the will and aspiration to rise up and build Quang Tri homeland to become more and more prosperous and beautiful.
