Visiting the National Aerospace Technology Administration (NATA) on November 23, Mr. Kim encouraged scientists and engineers who contributed to the satellite launch. The country announced that it would launch several more satellites in the future to better spy on South Korea and "areas of interest to the country." Mr. Kim, his wife Ri Sol-ju and their daughter attended a banquet on November 23 to celebrate the satellite launch. Also in attendance were senior officials at NATA, scientists, rocket engineers, and senior military and government officials.
