- On October 17, the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union led by Comrade Luong Quoc Doan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, visited and presented gifts to people affected by storm No. 11 in the communes of Yen Binh, Thien Tan, and Van Nham.
Participating in the delegation, on the side of Lang Son province were comrade Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Hoang Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association; leaders of the Provincial Department of Education and Training.

At the places visited, the delegation presented 500 gifts, worth more than 300 million VND in total to households affected by storms and floods. In addition, the delegation directly visited and presented gifts to 3 households in particularly difficult circumstances, including: Mr. Hoang Van Ngon's family (Trang village), Mr. Le Van Loan's family (Lang Ly village) and Mr. Luong Van Den's family (Bam village), Yen Binh commune.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Comrade Luong Quoc Doan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, inquired about the living conditions and health of the people, and shared the difficulties and losses that the people in the communes had to endure during the recent floods. He acknowledged and commended the proactiveness and efforts of the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and organizations in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, ensuring safety for the people. He hoped that Lang Son province would continue to pay attention and mobilize resources to quickly overcome the damage caused by the storm, while encouraging people to promote solidarity, help each other restore production and stabilize their lives.

During the program, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to students of Thanh Son Primary - Secondary School (Thien Tan Commune), Yen Binh Primary School (Yen Binh Commune) and Nhat Tien Primary School (Van Nham Commune). After listening to the school leaders report on the damage, Comrade Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented each school with 5,000 notebooks to support students in having better learning conditions.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, requested the Party Committees and authorities of the communes to continue to review, count, and assess the damage to houses, crops, and livestock, promptly synthesize, and propose to the Department of Agriculture and Environment to have plans to support and restore production after the flood. He emphasized that localities need to proactively develop plans to ensure safety for people; schools need to overcome difficulties, quickly stabilize learning; at the same time, pay attention to the lives and stabilize the psychology of students and parents after natural disasters, not letting any student have to drop out of school due to difficult circumstances.
