Provincial People's Committee leaders work with Central Power Corporation

On the afternoon of December 19, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) on the implementation of power grid projects through the province. Attending the meeting were comrades: Rah Lan Chung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Huu Que - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Huu Danh - Deputy General Director of EVNCPC. Also attending the meeting were leaders of the Departments of Industry and Trade, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment; Director of Gia Lai Electricity Company; leaders of Pleiku City People's Committee; People's Committees of Dak Doa and Chu Se districts.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Huu Danh - Deputy General Director of EVNCPC thanked the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the Departments, branches, sectors and localities of Gia Lai province for their attention, direction and support for EVNCPC in the Company's production and business activities in the province, especially in the investment and construction of power projects, contributing to helping EVNCPC fulfill the goal of ensuring sufficient electricity supply to serve socio-economic development and people's daily needs in Gia Lai province. At the same time, he also said that currently, there are a number of power projects being invested by EVNCPC facing difficulties and problems in site clearance compensation (BTGPMB), investment policy approval, affecting the progress of project completion. Specifically: There are 02 projects facing BTGPMB problems including: 110kV Connection Project after 220kV Chu Se Substation; 110kV Tra Da Substation and Connection Project; 02 projects stuck in investment approval procedures include: 110kV Connection Project after An Khe 220kV Substation and 110kV Connection Project after Pleiku 2 500kV Substation. Therefore, EVNCPC leaders proposed and recommended to Gia Lai provincial leaders to continue to resolve and create favorable conditions for projects in the province to be implemented smoothly and completed according to the set plan.

With an open spirit, at the working session, leaders of relevant departments, branches, localities and leaders of EVNCPC exchanged, discussed and proposed solutions to handle difficulties and problems in the investment and construction of power grid projects implemented by EVNCPC in the province.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Rah Lan Chung acknowledged and thanked EVNCPC for investing in projects in the province over the past time. Regarding EVNCPC's recommendations, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has directed and continues to direct departments, branches and localities to continue reviewing, researching and implementing solutions to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for EVNCPC. In particular, the People's Committees of Chu Se and Dak Doa districts and Pleiku City People's Committee are required to develop plans and proactively work with relevant departments and branches to remove difficulties and obstacles, quickly implement the remaining steps, and promptly complete the land acquisition and clearance for EVNCPC to complete the construction of the power grid project in the province, and soon put it into operation to serve the production and socio -economic development needs of the province./.
