Lao Cai meets with businesses and investors

At the forum, comrade Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, briefly informed about the results of the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The Congress approved 25 main targets, 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs, opening up a long-term vision, with the common goal: Building a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects; firmly ensuring national defense and security; promoting all potentials, advantages, resources and human factors, effectively exploiting new growth drivers, creating a breakthrough in building Lao Cai province into a growth pole, a center connecting international economic trade, developing in the direction of "green, harmony, identity, happiness" associated with the goal of "Preserving borders, preserving people, preserving forests, preserving water, preserving the environment".

In the first 9 months of 2025, Lao Cai has mobilized the cooperation of businesses, investors and people in implementing socio -economic development goals. The GRDP growth rate is estimated at 7.38%, ranking 4th out of 9 in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region, and 22nd out of 34 provinces and cities. Total state budget revenue reached more than 14,600 billion VND, total development investment capital reached 54,400 billion VND...

At the Forum, businessmen and investors were excited about the province's attention to the business community in recent times. At the same time, they proposed and recommended to the province solutions to remove difficulties for the development of small and micro enterprises, and to remove site clearance when implementing projects. Continue to develop the private economy according to the province's motto "businesses prosper, Lao Cai develops"; "Lao Cai listens, businesses accelerate".

The forum is an opportunity to jointly shape the vision, agree on new solutions and actions, turning Lao Cai into a dynamic growth pole and an important trade connection center of the region.

At the forum, provincial leaders asked the business community and investors to continue to accompany and promptly report difficulties and problems to authorities at all levels for joint solutions; at the same time, promote the spirit of cooperation and creativity, and join hands to build an increasingly favorable and effective investment and business environment.

Lao Cai province commits to always accompany and provide maximum support to businesses and investors, considering the development of businesses as a measure of the province's development.
