Strengthening party member development work after the reorganization

In Lang Son , this work is always widely and synchronously deployed by Party committees at all levels, in accordance with the reality in the new period.

After the reorganization, the task of discovering, nurturing and recruiting outstanding people into the Party is one of the pillars to stabilize the organization, enhance people's trust and create a source of cadres for the political system. According to comrade Nguyen Van Hai, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, from July 1 to the end of September 2025, the whole province has recruited nearly 200 new party members, bringing the total number of party members of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee to more than 71,000 comrades.

Among the new party members are 82 cadres, civil servants, and public employees; 51 people working in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; 47 officers and soldiers of the army and police. In the past time, the work of developing new party members after the reorganization has been organized and implemented synchronously in the area. Party committees and organizations at all levels have reviewed, developed specific plans, and clearly assigned responsibilities in discovering and nurturing sources of recruitment.

Many agencies and units flexibly innovate their working methods, linking the work of developing Party members with patriotic emulation movements and activities of mass organizations... Thereby, creating motivation for the masses to actively train and strive to join the Party's ranks.

In the border commune of Ba Son, the Party Building Committee has proactively advised the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Commune Party Committee to promote the work of developing Party members, coordinating with socio-political organizations to review and propagate to raise awareness of the Party among union members, association members and people, especially focusing on young people and prestigious people in residential areas.

Professional work has been given regular attention, through which the party background has been checked and verified for 10 cases; 8 probationary party members have been officially transferred; more than 75 party members have been transferred; 10 new party members have been admitted (reaching 66.7% of the plan). Up to now, the Ba Son Commune Party Committee has 595 party members (570 official party members; 25 probationary members).

The work of updating and exploiting the Party member database management system 2.0, 3.0 reached 98%; the implementation of changing Party membership cards reached 100% in the entire Party Committee of the commune. Comrade Ha Van Huan, Head of the Party Building Committee of Ba Son commune, said: "We regularly direct the branches and subordinate Party Committees to send cadres to villages and hamlets to mobilize, discover, and nurture outstanding people; strengthen political and ideological education ".

Regarding training, in the first 9 months of 2025, the commune participated in 5 training courses for new party members and mass organization work; sent 2 comrades to study advanced political theory, 3 comrades to study intermediate level. These are considered steps to standardize the team to meet the requirements of the new government system.

Comrade Vy Minh Long, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, emphasized: “Ba Son is a border commune, so we identify the work of Party building, building the political system, and developing new Party members as particularly important tasks. Doing this work well will help promote the Party's leadership role to the grassroots, villages, and hamlets, contributing to stabilizing social life, increasing people's trust and confidence in the Party, and building a stable and developed border area.”

It is noted that in recent times in Lang Son, in addition to developing plans and setting specific targets for implementation, Party committees at all levels have proactively assigned tasks to specialized agencies to closely monitor the implementation of plans and coordinate to remove obstacles in records and procedures for admitting new Party members. In the disadvantaged commune of Xuan Duong, the Party Committee of the commune has set goals for Party development work in Resolution No. 07-NQ/DH dated July 31, 2025, admitting 16 or more new Party members each year.

To accomplish this goal, the Commune Party Committee requires Party cells to consider developing Party members as a regular task, assigning responsibility to the Party cell secretary. In addition, it is necessary to focus on creating resources from union members, association members, and outstanding youths and assigning Party members to mentor and train the masses. In recent times, the Xuan Duong Commune Party Committee has considered Party building and political system building, including developing new Party members, as a task that must be completed excellently.

Party members are pioneers, exemplary party members, and party members are the measure of the masses in socio-economic development. Only then can we contribute to the development of Xuan Duong homeland. According to comrade Hoang Thi Luyen, Head of the Party Building Committee, organizational work, cadres and strict implementation of party member development processes are considered a mandatory requirement of Party building work at the grassroots level.

In addition, the Commune Party Committee also regularly organizes inspections and monitors progress, linking results with the assessment of the effectiveness of the work of subordinate Party cells. Reality in Lang Son shows that the work of developing Party members is a key factor to effectively operate the two-level local government model after the reorganization. Strengthening the discovery, training and political and ideological education of elite people not only supplements the source of cadres but is also a tool to strengthen the connection between the Party and the people, especially in border areas, where there are specific requirements for security, order and socio-economic development.
