Development imprints of Ho Chi Minh City at the exhibition space

The exhibition space within the framework of the 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 is one of the outstanding activities to welcome the Congress.

On the afternoon of October 11, Ho Chi Minh City leaders inspected the decoration of exhibition areas serving the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030 at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials.

At the Press and Publishing Achievements Exhibition area, City leaders inspected the areas displaying publications of press agencies in the City.

With the message "Press and publishing accompany the City's development", the event is a key political and cultural activity serving the Congress, aiming to introduce and honor the outstanding achievements of press agencies, Central and City publishing units, demonstrating the accompanying role of press and publishing with the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City in the cause of building and developing the City.

According to the organizing committee, many central and city press agencies have issued special publications to welcome the Congress, demonstrating the spirit of competition, the will to innovate and the belief in the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress.

The press and publishing exhibition area is a space to honor knowledge and creativity. Accordingly, the exhibition introduces more than 300 books, press publications, images and unique documents, vividly reflecting the dynamic and creative development of Vietnam's press and publishing industry in the digital transformation period.

The exhibition space is designed in a modern style, harmoniously combining traditional values ​​and technology, giving the public a comprehensive view of the role of press and publishing in accompanying the development of the City and the country.

The highlight of the exhibition is the art book arrangement area, with models of Nha Rong Wharf, DK1 Platform and Binh Duong Administrative Center. Each project not only demonstrates creativity in display form, but also carries profound symbolic meaning, honoring the revolutionary tradition, indomitable will, spirit of overcoming difficulties and aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City on the path of integration and development.

Regarding the imprint of technology and digital transformation in journalism and publishing, the exhibition also introduced a series of publications and typical projects marking the transformation of the publishing and journalism industry. Notably, book series such as “Ho Chi Minh – Illustrated Biography”, “Illustrated History of Vietnam” and “Ho Chi Minh Heritage” were digitized synchronously, published as audiobooks, e-books, and smart listening and reading applications - expanding the public's access to knowledge in the digital age.

In the field of journalism, many converged newsroom models, digital data systems and radio-television technology applying artificial intelligence (AI) were introduced, helping visitors experience the modern news production process. These spaces show profound innovation in the way of journalism - from information collection, data processing to multi-platform content production, responding to global digital media trends.

The exhibition of press and publishing achievements is not only an activity to welcome the Congress, but also a symbol of the spirit of integration and the aspiration for transformation of Ho Chi Minh City in the new period.

Each publication and each exhibition space is a story of innovation, of how the culture and media industry contributes to enriching the City's identity, bringing knowledge and information closer to the public.

The press and publishing exhibition spreads the image of Ho Chi Minh City as dynamic, creative and humane, affirming the City's pioneering role in the national digital transformation - where knowledge, technology and culture meet, together towards a sustainable and humane future.

According to comrade Pham Hong Son, Chief of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office, this Congress will arrange three exhibition spaces, taking place from October 13 to 15. The spaces are designed as a visual journey, recreating the development imprints in many areas of the City from economy, society, culture to science and technology.

“A special space was built to introduce Ho Chi Minh City’s scientific and technological achievements. Here, delegates will directly experience the technological products available in the city,” said comrade Pham Hong Son.

The highlight of the exhibition is the combination of images, artifacts and modern projection technology, to create a vivid experience for visitors. The exhibition is not only for delegates but also open to the people of the City to access information.

After the official program ended, experiential activities continued to take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials, contributing to spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity.
