Lao Cai will organize a contest to learn about the law on ethnic affairs in 2024 in mid-December.

The Organizing Committee met to agree with districts, towns and cities on preparations for the Competition.

The contest aims to raise the sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees working in ethnic minority areas in Lao Cai province; promote the study of law through the form of dramatization suitable to the customs, practices and traditions of ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Through the contest, it creates conditions for exchange, learning, enhancing understanding and solidarity of the people; sharing good experiences and effective operating models to replicate throughout the province. The contest also contributes to strengthening the socialization of legal dissemination andeducation in ethnic minority areas...

The competition has 9 teams from 9 districts, towns and cities in the province. Each team has a maximum of 20 members, who are officials, civil servants and public employees working in the dissemination and education of law, culture, society, information and communication of units; heads and deputy heads of villages, unions, prestigious people...

The teams will go through 3 rounds: Greeting round, knowledge round on laws and ethnic policies, and finally a skit round. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee will select the team with the highest score to participate in the Northwest Regional round, organized by the Ethnic Committee.

The contest will be held in Lao Cai city for 2.5 days; opening on December 14.
