Taking advantage of potential, Tri Ton commune makes a breakthrough

Impressive numbers

In the 2020 - 2025 term, in the context of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, Tri Ton commune's economy continues to maintain a stable growth momentum, in which agriculture plays a key role. Production models of specialty rice, mango, watermelon, and medicinal plants have initially brought about results.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tri Ton Commune Tran Van Cuong said that one of the impressive highlights is that the average income per capita reached 65.57 million VND/year; the budget revenue for 5 years was over 177 billion VND, exceeding 133.7% of the resolution target, clearly reflecting the effectiveness of mobilizing and managing local resources. In addition, trade and services have changed, especially tourism services such as cuisine and accommodation. Spiritual tourism and eco-tourism have seen a steady increase in the number of visitors, averaging more than 13,000/year, creating more jobs and income for the people.

In addition, policy credit activities have been effectively implemented, contributing to poverty reduction and ensuring social security. National target programs: New rural construction, poverty reduction, and ethnic minority development have been effectively implemented. Infrastructure has been heavily invested, with 137 projects implemented, total capital of more than 393 billion VND.

In addition to the economic sector, the cultural and social sectors continue to develop. Education and training are given due attention, school facilities are gradually invested and upgraded; the rate of schools meeting national standards is 41.7%. Medical work and public health care are getting better and better...

The fields of culture, sports, and grassroots media continue to receive attention, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people. Cultural institutions and festival activities are maintained, preserving Khmer cultural identity, creating community cohesion. At the same time, policies on ethnicity, religion, social security, child protection, and gender equality are implemented synchronously, effectively, promptly, and to the right target. National defense and security are maintained; social order and safety are stable...

A new center of the Seven Mountains region

These are the goals and tasks that the Party Committee, government and people of Tri Ton commune set for the 2025 - 2030 term. Specifically, by 2030, Tri Ton strives to become the political - administrative, commercial, service, specialty agricultural and eco-tourism and spiritual center of the Bay Nui region. The socio-economic infrastructure system has been invested synchronously, the economy has developed quite well, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been significantly improved. The Party Committee of the commune also sets the goal of building a clean, strong and comprehensive political system that operates effectively and efficiently; national defense and security are maintained, and social order and safety are stable.

Tri Ton Commune Party Committee Secretary Lam Thanh Si said: “The commune Party Committee will continue to innovate the content, leadership methods, and working style of the Party Committee in a close, specific, and responsible manner. In addition, promote the restructuring of the agricultural sector towards specialty and organic agriculture, applying high technology associated with processing and consumption of products; strongly develop trade and services, focus on building market streets and clean agricultural markets. Strengthen the promotion and development of ecological and spiritual tourism, in which, focus on exploiting tourism potential such as: Ta Pa Lake, Soai So Lake, Xvayton Pagoda, Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival...”.

The locality focuses on applying information technology in management and administration; building digital government and digital citizens; investing in facilities and teaching equipment; developing qualified teachers. The commune effectively implements social security policies, sustainably reduces poverty, especially in Khmer ethnic minority areas and near-poor households; takes care of family affairs, children, gender equality, prevention and combat of domestic violence and social evils; consolidates the national defense posture and solid people's security...

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Tri Ton Commune Party Committee set out a number of key targets: Economic growth rate from 9 - 10%/year; average income per capita reaching 98 million VND/year; poverty rate below 1%; health insurance coverage rate reaching 95%; 83.3% of schools meeting national standards; 90% of grassroots party organizations completing their tasks well.
