Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Van Tu, General Director of Binh Dinh General Hospital Joint Stock Company, said that Binh Dinh Hospital is under Binh Dinh General Hospital Joint Stock Company. The hospital currently has a planned capacity of 335 beds. The hospital has been approved by the Ministry of Health for 7,464 technical services. The organizational structure includes 12 clinical departments, 4 paraclinical departments and 10 functional rooms. As of May 20, 2025, the total number of staff working at the hospital is 430 people.
He said that the official application of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) from June 1, 2025 at the hospital will bring many practical benefits. Electronic medical records help optimize medical examination and treatment processes, from diagnosis, treatment, consultation, emergency to patient care, contributing to improving the quality of medical services. Medical records are fully digitized, flexibly stored and interconnected, and data is retrieved in real time, creating favorable conditions for doctors to retrieve information quickly and accurately. The implementation of EMR not only helps save time and costs, but also brings many benefits to patients, their families and medical staff. At the same time, Electronic Medical Records also contribute to modernizing the appraisal and settlement of Social Insurance.

At the same time, it is also a concrete demonstration of the effectiveness of the digital transformation orientation of healthcare that the health sector of Binh Dinh province has been strongly implementing in recent times.

Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee emphasized the need to continue to further promote the application of digital technology in healthcare, such as: remote medical examination and treatment, application of artificial intelligence in image diagnosis and analysis of medical data to serve disease prevention and forecasting.
In the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Provincial Department of Health continue to closely coordinate with relevant departments and branches, promote communication work, guide people to access and effectively use the utilities that electronic medical records bring.
