Sharing about the significance of the program, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) said that in 2025, Vietnam made a strong impression when it increased 8 places, ranking 46th in the world in the happiness rankings. This is not just a number, but a testament to the positive energy spreading from people's lives, from humane policies and from the aspiration to build a fair, prosperous and loving country.

The event takes place from December 5 to 7, 2025, at the Walking Street Space around Hoan Kiem Lake. The main space of the festival is designed as a "Happiness Road", stretching through the historic streets: Le Thai To, Hang Khay, Dinh Tien Hoang and ending at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.

Visitors will be immersed in a journey throughout 13 experience points depicting the pulse of Vietnamese life today, including: Happy Vietnam Exhibition, Digital Interactive Space, Photobooth and art exhibition areas, Happy Tree, Happy Prism, Happy Map...

Along with that, the festival also has other meaningful activities such as: The collective wedding ceremony of 80 couples - "Love is happiness", held on December 6. The event is a special highlight, symbolizing the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness of the nation. The wedding ceremony is not only for young couples but also honors the Silver, Gold, Diamond love that has been together for decades.

The Vietnamese costume parade “Bach Hoa Bi Hanh” will take place on December 7 with about 800 people wearing Vietnamese costumes from many periods. The opening ceremony will take place on December 6, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and will close with the music night “Happy Vietnam” on December 7, with the participation of many young artists such as singers Bui Cong Nam, Lam Bao Ngoc, Erik...

The organizers hope that the program will become an annual activity, contributing to making Hanoi and Vietnam a happy destination, attracting domestic and foreign tourists. The festival conveys the message of simple happiness of Vietnamese people, demonstrating the State's concern so that no one is left behind, and at the same time, spreading love and positive energy to the community.

This year's event is expected to attract 200,000 - 300,000 direct participants and millions of online participants.

“Vietnam Happy Fest 2025” is not just a series of experiences, but an affirmation: Vietnam’s happiness is built from peace , love, solidarity and the simplest things.
