Nghia Do Ward continues to implement the street project connecting Tran Quoc Hoan to Nghia Tan

On November 27, Nghia Do Ward People's Council held a meeting with voters before the regular meeting at the end of 2025.

In the program, representatives of the People's Council and People's Committee of Nghia Do ward reported to voters on the results of performing tasks in the last 6 months of 2025, the direction for 2026 and the results of handling voters' petitions before the session.

According to the report, in the past time, many important development targets of Nghia Do ward have been completed and exceeded the plan. Budget revenue is estimated at 82,398 billion VND, equal to 100% of the assigned estimate. The ward successfully organized the first Sports Festival; the rate of households maintaining the title of "Cultural Family" is 90%, reaching 102.3% of the target.

In the field of urban management, the ward has reviewed the zoning plan, detailed plan; evaluated the technical infrastructure system from traffic, drainage, lighting, trees to cultural institutions. The locality also reviewed the land fund to propose local adjustments to the H2-1 zoning plan, improving the efficiency of land use and public investment. The list of 115 old apartment buildings has been fully updated; of which, 50 houses have been inspected, 65 houses are being submitted to the Department of Construction for appraisal.

Many public investment projects continue to be implemented, including: Nghia Do Park, Nghia Do Kindergarten (campus 3), Co Nhue 1 Secondary School, Quan Hoa Kindergarten and the street connecting Tran Quoc Hoan Street to Nghia Tan Street. At the meeting, voters reflected on the lack of urban order; environmental pollution; the need for alley maintenance and repair; inadequacies in lighting, drainage and illegal parking. Many voters raised issues related to apartment building management, the activities of the management board, the management board, investors; the handover of urban infrastructure and traffic connections.

The socio-cultural opinion group mentioned the need to improve the quality of cultural and sports activities; maintain civilized urban lifestyle; ensure living conditions of cultural houses and residential groups; and promote the role of socio-political organizations in building a healthy living environment.

Voters also proposed improving the effectiveness of digital transformation; increasing tax collection and Party fee collection; enhancing public service responsibilities; ensuring security and order, crime prevention, fire prevention and fighting; tightening management of residents, public land, sidewalks and roads.

In response to the recommendations, Vice Chairman of Nghia Do Ward People's Committee Hoang Trung Kien received and answered the contents within his authority, and at the same time noted the issues that needed to be studied and handled.

To ensure effective resolution of petitions, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Hong Son requested the Ward Fatherland Front Committee to synthesize all voters' opinions, transfer them to the Ward People's Council Standing Committee to classify and transfer petitions to competent authorities for resolution; at the same time, supervise the response, ensuring transparent and public information to voters.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Son also requested that People's Council delegates strengthen their close contact with the grassroots, regularly grasp people's opinions; not only supervise but also proactively propose solutions, and accompany the government in handling people's livelihood issues.

For the Ward People's Committee, the requirement is to urgently review and fully respond to recommendations within its authority, strictly implement commitments to voters; at the same time, proactively propose measures for contents beyond its authority.
