“Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 - Happy Vietnam Festival” is where beautiful moments of Vietnam's land and people are recorded through the authentic perspectives of tens of thousands of domestic and foreign authors.
Since the first organization in 2023, nearly 40,000 works including photos and video clips have been sent, creating a national database about a happy Vietnam told by the people, for the people.
At the press conference on November 27, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of Basic Information and Foreign Information shared: " In 2025, Vietnam made a strong impression when it increased 8 places, ranking 46th in the world in the happiness rankings. This is not only a number , but also a testament to the positive energy spreading from people's lives, from humane policies and from the aspiration to build a fair, prosperous and loving country " .
This year's event takes place along Le Thai To, Hang Khay, Dinh Tien Hoang streets, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, with 13 experience points such as 13 emotional rhythms: "Happy Vietnam" exhibition, digital interactive space, photobooth and art exhibition area, Happy Tree, Happy Prism, Happy Map, "Sending happiness to tomorrow" activity, "Health is happiness" program, Happy announcer... All combine to tell the story: happiness is present in every moment of Vietnamese life.
At the Ly Thai To Monument area, the “Happiness Tree” will receive wishes, gratitude, and sharing from everyone. Each piece of paper hung up is like a seed of kindness, from which happiness is multiplied, spread, and touches the hearts of strangers. At the happiness tree, the organizers give away 80,000 souvenirs to the people and tourists.
Coming to the event, visitors can also experience activities such as: Vietnamese costume parade "Bach hoa bo hanh" (December 7); Workshop "Ling han happiness" (December 6-7); Participating in the Opening Ceremony (December 6); Mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples - "Love is happiness" (December 6); Happy Vietnam 2025 Awards Ceremony (December 6); Music night "Vietnam Happiness" (December 7).
“Vietnam Happy Fest 2025” is not only a cultural and artistic festival. It is an affirmation that: Vietnam’s happiness is built from peace , love, solidarity, and the simplest things. In each activity, the program also sends its thoughts to the Central region - where people across the country are sharing and supporting each other to overcome difficulties.
Vietnam hopes to move towards organizing the annual “Vietnam Happy Day” - a new cultural landmark, making Vietnam a destination of peace and humanity in the eyes of international friends after the success of Vietnam Happy Fest.
