On the afternoon of December 1, 2024, at the Ministry's Headquarters, the Ministry of Home Affairs solemnly held a ceremony to award the Third Class Independence Medal by the President to comrade Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, and announced the Decision on retirement to enjoy social insurance benefits for Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong.
Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Home Affairs chaired the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long announced Decision No. 1035/QD-CTN dated October 18, 2024 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarding the Third Class Independence Medal to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong for his outstanding achievements during his work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Next, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Nguyen Huu Tuan announced the Prime Minister 's Decision on retirement to enjoy social insurance benefits for comrade Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, from December 1, 2024.
