Ceremony to receive the Third Class Independence Medal and hand over the retirement decision to Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong

On the afternoon of December 1, 2024, at the Ministry's Headquarters, the Ministry of Home Affairs solemnly held a ceremony to award the Third Class Independence Medal by the President to comrade Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, and announced the Decision on retirement to enjoy social insurance benefits for Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong.

Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Home Affairs chaired the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Ministers Vu Chien Thang and Truong Hai Long; leaders of affiliated units and party and mass organizations of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Authorized bythe President , Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra awarded the Third Class Independence Medal to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long announced Decision No. 1035/QD-CTN dated October 18, 2024 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarding the Third Class Independence Medal to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong for his outstanding achievements during his work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Comrade Trieu Van Cuong received the Third Class Independence Medal.

Next, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Nguyen Huu Tuan announced the Prime Minister 's Decision on retirement to enjoy social insurance benefits for comrade Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, from December 1, 2024.

Authorized by the Prime Minister, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra presented the Prime Minister's Decision on retirement to enjoy social insurance benefits to comrade Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, from December 1, 2024.

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang and Deputy Minister Truong Hai Long presented flowers to congratulate Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong on his excellent performance.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Ministry's leadership, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra acknowledged and highly appreciated the dedication and contributions of Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong throughout his career, especially during the more than 9 years he held the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs. The Minister congratulated Comrade Trieu Van Cuong on his excellent performance in his duties, which was respectfully recognized by the Party and State and awarded with the noble Third Class Independence Medal. This is an achievement, an honor and pride for the Deputy Minister and his family, as well as a shared honor, pride and joy for the staff, civil servants and public employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Reviewing the working process of Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed that with 36 years of working, having held many important positions, including more than 9 years as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Comrade Trieu Van Cuong has made great contributions to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Home Affairs sector, especially in the field of state documents and archives. In any position or position, Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong has clearly demonstrated his qualities, mettle, qualifications, capacity, prestige and always excellently completed the assigned tasks.
