Unlike many other Victory Parades held in the Soviet Union and Russia later, this was the only parade held by the Soviet Union to commemorate the Victory over Imperial Japan. After that, Russia and the Soviet Union did not hold any more Victory Parades to commemorate the Victory over Imperial Japan.
The Red Army garrison in Manchuria withdrew on May 3, 1946. The Soviet forces in Dalian Port withdrew in 1955.
