On the morning of October 4, in Xuan Pho commune (Nghi Xuan), the Management Board of the Vietnam Tran Dynasty Temple held the 723rd death anniversary of Saint Tran - Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan.
Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (born in 1228 - died in 1300), was from Tuc Mac village, My Loc district, Ha Nam Ninh province (now Nam Dinh province). He was a genius, exceptionally intelligent, and an outstanding general of the Vietnamese people.
The management board organized the 723rd death anniversary of Saint Tran - Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (1300 - 2023).
More than 700 years ago, General Tran Quoc Tuan led the Vietnamese army and people to fight against foreign invaders, protecting the country's borders and national independence.
The death anniversary is an occasion to review the heroic traditions of our ancestors, to commemorate the contributions of the national hero, and to contribute to enhancing the sense of responsibility and trust of the people in the Party and State for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to students in difficult circumstances in Xuan Pho commune.
