Trinh Tuong Temple Festival takes place tomorrow (April 4)

The Trinh Tuong Temple Festival in 2025 will be held at the district level, at the Trinh Tuong Temple area, Pho Moi 1 village, Trinh Tuong commune (Bat Xat).

Trinh Tuong Temple is located on the bank of the Red River in Trinh Tuong commune (Bat Xat district).

The festival will take place from April 4 to April 7 (ie March 7 to 10 of the lunar calendar) with many meaningful and attractive activities.

Accordingly, the festival is organized with a ceremony and a festival. The ceremony includes solemn palanquin procession, sacrifice, announcement, and peace prayer. During the festival days, the Temple Management Board organizes folk cultural performances in accordance with traditional Mother Goddess worship beliefs.

At the festival, the Vietnamese people will practice the Mother Goddess Worship of the Three Realms.

The festival will have many exciting and interesting activities, such as: Organizing a competition to perform ethnic costumes, performing excerpts of rituals such as: Cap sac ceremony, Put Tong of the Red Dao people, Then ceremony of the Giay people, Kho Gia Gia festival of the Ha Nhi people; lion - unicorn - dragon dance; martial arts performances...

Within the framework of the festival, there are also sports competitions such as volleyball, badminton; traditional games such as tug of war, stick pushing, crossbow shooting, throwing con, chess competitions, rice cake pounding competitions, performances, displays of dishes, traditional cakes...

The festival was solemnly held, attracting the participation of people and tourists from all over.

Trinh Tuong Temple Festival is held to preserve and promote traditional values while promoting and introducing to tourists the cultural and spiritual tourism values, historical and cultural relics, and scenic spots at the border of the Fatherland.

Trinh Tuong Mother Temple is the place to worship the Holy Mother of the Upper Realm - the second Holy Mother in the Three Holy Mothers, who governs the music palace, that is, governs the mountainous areas, and guards the border. The temple was built in the early 20th century and was ranked as a provincial-level Historical - Cultural Relic in 2016. In recent years, Bat Xat district has mobilized many resources to restore and embellish the relic, while also managing festival activities well.
