Continuing the success of 10 seasons, the "Kpop Lovers Festival 2024" will officially take place from August 17 to 18, 2024 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hanoi city.
This is an annual event jointly organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, the Korea Creative Content Agency and Seoul Newspaper, dedicated to Kpop and Korean culture fans in Vietnam.
The highlight of the festival is two Kpop music nights, bringing together famous guests, who are the most popular faces among young audiences today such as Quan AP, Trang Phap, CongB...
In the first performance at 7:00 p.m. on August 17, the 12 best young people in the Kpop singing contest (Kpop I Love 2024) from Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City will have the opportunity to perform on the big stage.
On the second night at 7pm on August 18, 15 of the most talented dance groups in the Kpop Cover Dance Festival 2024 from major cities will also have the opportunity to show their passion through impressive K-pop cover dance performances, with the participation of famous Korean dance group Wolf'Lo and singer Grey D.
At the end of the program, the best performing Vietnamese student group among the dance groups will be selected to participate in the Kpop Cover Dance Festival World Final 2024 organized by Seoul Newspaper, scheduled to take place in September in Seoul, Korea.
Within the framework of the festival, other activities include a K pop space with a K pop exhibition , K pop related games , on-demand MV screenings and many other exciting activities.
In addition, Korean cultural space will also be recreated in the festival through activities such as taking photos with hanbok (traditional Korean costume), Korean folk games, learning about Korean tourism and receiving souvenirs.
Activities are expected to take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on August 17 and 18, 2024.
Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, Mr. Choi Seung Jin, said: “I hope that this year's festival will be an unmissable destination for young people and people of Hanoi in the early autumn atmosphere of Hanoi.
In the coming time, the Korean Cultural Center will continue to organize more diverse activities to introduce Korean culture and Korean-Vietnamese cultural exchanges so that the exchange relationship between the people of the two countries becomes even deeper."
