According to reports from various sources, prior to the opening of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, occupancy rates at many beachfront hotels in Da Nang reached 85% - 95%.

By the afternoon of May 29th, over 95% of tickets for the opening night had been sold. All preparations were complete, and the grandstands and firing range were ready to host the opening show of the 2026 fireworks season.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 will have a total of six competition nights. The opening night will take place on May 30th, featuring a competition between Vietnam Team 1 and China, with the theme "Nature".

The evening of June 6th, themed "Heritage," will feature performances by Vietnam 2 and France. The evening of June 13th, themed "Culture," will include performances by Japan and Italy.

The competition on the evening of June 20th, themed "Creative," was between Germany and Macau (China). The competition on the evening of June 27th, themed "Vision," featured Australia and Portugal.

The two teams with the highest scores will participate in the final on July 11th with the theme "United Horizons".

The grandstands for DIFF 2026 this year are arranged along Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite the stage on the Han River, and include VVIP, A VIP, A1, A2, A3, and A4 areas.

A major concern for many tourists is the price of tickets to watch the fireworks display. According to the published price list, tickets for the opening and final nights range from 1.5 million to 4 million VND depending on the seating location. Specifically, VVIP seats cost 4 million VND/ticket, A VIP seats cost 2.8 million VND/ticket, and A1 and A2 seats cost 2 million VND/ticket.

Tickets for sections A3 and A4 are priced at 1.5 million VND each, while A4 tickets will only be available for purchase on the night of the final.

For the qualifying nights held on June 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, ticket prices ranged from 1 million to 3.5 million VND per ticket.

In addition to fireworks viewing tickets, the organizers also sell combo packages combining Sun World Ba Na Hills entrance tickets and a lunch buffet, priced from 2.3 million to 3.3 million VND per adult, depending on the ticket class.

Customers purchasing Sun PhuQuoc Airways tickets can buy DIFF tickets as part of a combo package with discounts of up to 35%.

Besides fireworks, visitors to Da Nang can also enjoy 27 art activities and tourism events organized at various locations during this period.
