Within the framework of activities to celebrate the Nha Trang- Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023, on the evening of May 31, in Nha Trang city, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union organized the 4th Ao Dai Festival.
After 3 times of organization, the Ao Dai Festival has become an outstanding cultural-tourism event, creating its own mark, attracting the attention of many local people and tourists in Khanh Hoa province.
The 4th Ao Dai Festival aims to honor the beauty of the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai through rich and attractive cultural and spiritual activities, contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the nation.
This year, the Ao Dai Festival continues to expand in scale and innovate in content, bringing local people and domestic and foreign tourists unique experiences when coming to the sea festival season of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.

Ms. Nguyen Quynh Nga, President of the Women's Union of Khanh Hoa province, said that through many ups and downs of history, the ao dai today is not only a symbol of the image of the Vietnamese people but also contains the national soul, expressing good values of ethics and aesthetics and is a precious heritage of the Vietnamese people.
Therefore, it is very important to continue to preserve and conserve the humanistic values in traditional costumes to appreciate the values left by our ancestors.
"That is also the message that through this festival, the Provincial Women's Union continues to call on all women to promote traditions and national identity, preserve and conserve the value of Vietnamese ao dai; at the same time promote the image of ao dai as well as the image of Vietnamese women to international friends," Ms. Nguyen Quynh Nga emphasized.
Although the festival took place in rainy weather in the evening, it still attracted a large number of people and tourists to watch the performance.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, a tourist from Hanoi, said that each performance, each ao dai is a story, carrying a different meaning. That helps Ms. Hien understand more deeply the value of the ao dai that our country currently has.
“The festival program honoring Ao Dai and women is very good and unique. I love Vietnamese Ao Dai even more, I will definitely wear Ao Dai in the important program.”
The festival took place with performances by professional models, actors, singers... and women from units and localities throughout Khanh Hoa province with performances of ancient Ao Dai, modern Ao Dai, Ao Dai for weddings and engagements and a collection of Ao Dai of 54 ethnic groups...
