Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony with Saskatchewan Polytechnic

This event aims to support students and trainees to access internship, job and study abroad opportunities. The signing ceremony of cooperation between Saigontourist School and Saskatchewan Polytechnic will create many attractive opportunities for students who want to study and work in an international environment, especially in Canada.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is one of 13 schools in the Polytechnic group of Canada and meets the requirements of facilities, training quality and employment rate of students after graduation. The signing of cooperation between the two schools will open up many opportunities for studying abroad, working and internship in Canada for students of Saigontourist School.

The signing ceremony took place with the participation of representatives of Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the Board of Directors of Saigontourist School, Heads of Departments and Subjects, Saigontourist School students, alumni and young people interested in the program.

During the signing ceremony, the two sides committed to cooperate in the fields of training and research, jointly develop student and lecturer exchange programs; the potential to provide regular training courses; the ability to develop short-term training courses according to SURGE's requirements to serve the Vietnamese market; research and develop joint programs and share training curricula to create study abroad opportunities for students of Saigontourist University. In addition, the two schools also wish to cooperate in organizing cultural,educational programs and specialized seminars to improve training quality, meeting the needs of the tourism industry in Vietnam and Canada.

Representatives from Saskatchewan Polytechnic introduced the school and the opportunities that the cooperation program will bring to students and trainees of Saigontourist School. The highlight of the ceremony was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two schools, certifying the commitment and determination of both parties in cooperating and developing training programs for students.

After the signing ceremony, the two sides agreed to immediately implement in 2023 a joint training program for graduates from Saigontourist to transfer to a bachelor's degree at Saskatchewan Polytechnic - Canada. This is an important event, marking a new step in cooperation between two leading training schools in Vietnam and Canada.
