The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said that the National Assembly needs to conduct comprehensive supervision and research to clarify the reasons why this year's flooding is much more serious than previous years. Comprehensive analysis and assessment are necessary to propose fundamental, long-term solutions for planning, land management, river basins and reservoir systems.

In the immediate future, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested localities to concentrate all their resources to support people to stabilize their lives soon; agencies, organizations and individuals continue to join hands to help people in flood-affected areas overcome damage, restore production and daily life.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that the National Assembly delegations of localities, businesses... will continue to provide more support to quickly overcome the consequences, especially to support households whose houses have collapsed or been severely damaged. "Saving people is paramount; especially ensuring that before Tet, people have safe homes and no one is left behind," the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized.
