Lexus recently made a special performance by letting two famous tennis players play tennis on the roof of a moving car. This somewhat risky idea is attracting the attention of global media.

Accordingly, this unique promotional campaign featured two British professional tennis players: Jamie Murray and Laura Robson. Both performed 101 consecutive shots while standing on the roof of two Lexus NX cars running side by side at speeds of up to 47 km/h.
To ensure safety, Lexus designed two special aluminum platforms, fixed to the chassis via roof rack mounting points. The two athletes were also secured with 4-point safety belts. The Lexus NX was also driven by professional drivers on the runway at Duxford Airport (UK).

After many trials and many tense moments, the duo set two Guinness World Records: "Longest tennis rally in two moving cars" and "Highest speed achieved playing tennis in two moving cars".
After the performance, tennis player Laura Robson shared that tennis is a sport that requires precision, skill and coordination. Playing back and forth while standing on two moving cars is not a simple challenge. Tennis player Jamie Murray also called it the strangest and most interesting experience he has ever participated in.

Although only part of a promotional campaign, Lexus' performance not only created a media buzz but also contributed to renewing the image of a brand that was once associated with safety and quietness, now becoming dynamic, bold and full of surprises.
