Liam Delap ignores MU, agrees to join Chelsea

After weighing up his options, Liam Delap has decided to join Chelsea this summer, despite interest from Manchester United, Everton and Newcastle.

Despite MU's efforts to lure him, the 22-year-old striker is set to join the new Europa Conference League champions.

Chelsea are ready to pay Ipswich Town's £30m release clause and are also in talks over a possible loan move for Marc Guiu.

With a fee assessed to be cheaper than market value, Delap is the "hottest" item at the beginning of the 2025 summer market.
