National Assembly's working schedule next week, from May 29 to June 2

During the second working week of the 5th Session (from May 29 to June 2), the National Assembly discussed many important issues on the agenda.

National Assembly deputies met in the hall on the afternoon of May 24.

The National Assembly spent the first day of the working week discussing in the hall the mobilization, management and use of resources for Covid-19 prevention and control; the implementation of policies and laws on grassroots health care and preventive medicine.

Notably, on May 31, the National Assembly discussed all day in the hall about the additional assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio -economic development plan and the state budget in 2022; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2023.

This content will continue to be discussed in the morning meeting on June 1.

Also on the morning of June 1, the National Assembly discussed the policy of investing additional charter capital for the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.

In the afternoon session of the same day, the National Assembly discussed in the hall: Approval of the 2021 state budget settlement; Practice of thrift and anti-waste in 2022; Continued implementation of the policy of reducing value added tax by 2% according to Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022;

Assigning the list and capital levels for tasks and projects under the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program; assigning, adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan of central budget capital for the period 2021-2025 and allocating the central budget capital investment plan for 2023 of the national target program.

These contents are broadcast live on radio and television for voters and interested people to follow.

During the working week, the National Assembly voted to pass a Resolution on the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2024 and adjustments to the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2023.

The National Assembly discussed the draft Law on Electronic Transactions (amended); Decision on investment policy for the traffic project from National Highway 27C to Provincial Road DT.656 in Khanh Hoa province - connecting with Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan; Adjustment of investment policy for the Ka Pet Reservoir Project, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province;

Draft Resolution on taking a vote of confidence, voting for confidence in people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly and People's Councils (amended); Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, the National Assembly also discussed the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on People's Public Security; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.

National Assembly deputies listened to the Presentation and Verification Report on the draft Law on Telecommunications (amended); Presentation and Verification Report on the draft Law on Citizen Identification (amended).
