The 2023 Women's World Cup is witnessing too many surprises. After reigning Olympic champions Canada, reigning Asian champions China, and second-placed Germany were unexpectedly eliminated, it was the turn of reigning World Cup champions the United States to bitterly stop on penalties against Sweden.

The Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, England… have emerged as the leading candidates for the 2023 Women's World Cup. The winner of the Spain/Netherlands match will meet the winner of the Japan/Sweden match in the semi-finals. This is a pretty tight bracket, gathering the top candidates for the championship. In the remaining bracket, the only candidates emerging are England and France. However, new factors such as Colombia or Australia also do not hide their goal of creating a surprise.

The quarter-finals of the 2023 Women's World Cup will take place on August 11 and 12. The semi-finals will be held on August 15 and 16; the final will be held on August 20.
