Doha Cup 2023 is an annual friendly tournament held in Qatar with the participation of youth teams. U23 Vietnam participates in this tournament to train in preparation for the 32nd SEA Games. This is also the first tournament coach Philippe Troussier leads U23 Vietnam.
Teams participating in the Doha Cup 2023 are randomly paired for the first two matches. Based on the results of these two matches, the organizing committee will classify and pair them for the third match.
