According to the report of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and its member organizations actively implemented activities according to plan; continued to thoroughly and fully grasp the Party's viewpoints, policies and cultural and artistic guidelines to ensure good implementation of the tasks assigned by the Party and the State.
In addition, in the first months of the year, the Union has continuously implemented professional activities with many innovative forms and specific tasks, suitable to the characteristics and situation, achieving many good results such as: Organizing the National Committee Conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025 in January 2025 in Hanoi .

Implementing Plan No. 390-KH/BTGTW dated November 15, 2023 of the Central Propaganda Department on organizing activities to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Union focuses on implementing coordination programs, organizing seminars and workshops. The Union's leaders also increased their participation in cultural and artistic activities, a series of events on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) of the Central specialized Literature and Arts Associations and provincial and municipal Literature and Arts Associations such as seminars, seminars, festivals, fine arts and photography exhibitions, training courses, writing camps, etc.
The work of theory and criticism continues to be focused on through the active activities of the Association's Literature and Arts Theory and Criticism Council. In addition, implementing the policies of the Secretariat on implementing regimes and policies for artists, the Union has paid the first subsidy of 2025 to 318 outstanding artists in difficult circumstances. In foreign affairs in 2025, the Union has actively implemented people-to-people diplomacy to consolidate and strengthen relations with relevant organizations and organizations that have made many positive contributions, support and assistance in promoting exchange and promotion activities in the field of culture and arts...
Although the Union and the Literature and Arts Associations have many changes in their organizational structure after implementing the policy of streamlining and shortening, in order to continue promoting the development of literature and arts in the coming time, the Union and its member organizations will carry out a number of important tasks in the last 6 months of 2025 such as: Continuing to strengthen the dissemination, organization and serious implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions, guidelines and policies of the Party, and State laws and policies on culture, literature and arts.
Continue to strongly promote the role of social criticism, advising cultural management agencies on important issues related to the development of Vietnamese literature and arts; Focus on grasping the thoughts and aspirations of artists, encouraging and motivating artists to continue creating and promoting many literary and artistic works of high ideological and artistic value.
At the same time, continue to open 2 Literature and Arts Creation Camps with the theme Song of Unification of the Country to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese Literature and Arts after the country's reunification in Long An and Khanh Hoa; Implement the Literature and Arts Award of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations in 2025; Organize an exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Actively coordinate with relevant departments, ministries and branches to organize activities and tasks according to their functions, tasks, and periodic tasks such as: organizing cadres, foreign affairs, etc../.
