Pursuant to Decision No. 12-QD/BCĐTW dated June 10, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on celebrating major holidays and important events of the country in the 3 years 2023-2025 on approving the overall project of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); Pursuant to the Notice of Conclusion of the meeting dated May 29, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on Celebrating Major Holidays and Important Historical Events of the Country in the 3 years 2023-2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned to coordinate with departments, ministries, branches, unions, socio-political organizations, agencies and relevant units to organize parades, mass parades, and formations in the overall activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent a document requesting Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports (gathering 1,200 students) and Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports (gathering 600 students) to perform the honorary red flag team at the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

At the meeting, Principal of Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports Nguyen Van Phuc said: The school has quickly developed an implementation plan including establishing a Steering Committee, professional committee, service team and student management board. At the same time, students have been mobilized and started preparing for training.
In addition, representatives of the units gave their opinions on contents such as: selection of participants, practice time, costumes, props, diet, rest of members, etc.
To ensure the activities are successful, safe and of high quality, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong requested that units must have a specific training plan, and that members participating in the parade ensure their health to practice and participate in the parade activities at the Anniversary Ceremony. Training facilities must prepare adequate means of transportation, send enough members as required and send a list of participating staff and students to the Department of Performing Arts as soon as possible.
"This is an important political task assigned by the Party and State to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. We request that training institutions seriously carry out and ensure the quality of the assigned tasks," Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong emphasized./.
