Differentiating statements can be made, but they must not deviate from the program. The test must ensure scientific quality, such as accurate citations and transparent sources.
According to Master Le Duy, the literature test should move away from the "reciting and quoting" method, focusing on memorization and reproduction, and should focus on application. From there, one can express and handle the question according to one's own thinking, rather than learning "model essays" to prove rigid opinions.
According to Master Nguyen Phuoc Bao Khoi, lecturer of the Faculty of Literature at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, the person who creates the test needs to clearly understand the test making trend, determine the discussion requirements, consider the workload and study pressure of students at the time of the assessment to decide whether to quote or not to quote material in the literary discussion section.

In addition, expert Tran Tien Thanh noted the need to prepare multiple-choice questions for the "reading comprehension" test in literature.
