Implementing the direction of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and the Director of Da Nang City Police, after a period of inspection and survey, the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police coordinated with Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company, Railway Safety Management Department II - Vietnam Railway Authority, Railway Traffic Police Team No. 2 - Department 6 (Traffic Police Department), People's Committees of Tay Ho Commune, Tam Xuan Commune, Tay Ho Commune Police and Tam Xuan Commune Police to organize the closure of two illegal residential passages at the locations: Km 857+100 (Tay Ho Commune) and Km 870+050 (Tam Xuan Commune).
These two paths were identified as self-opened paths, posing a high risk of causing railway accidents. Traffic police coordinated with relevant units to inspect the current situation, erect solid barriers, remove obstacles, and install warning signs, ensuring complete prevention of vehicles and people from moving through the railway area at the above two points.
Along with the work of closing the passage, the Traffic Police force has stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to strictly comply with the provisions of the Railway Law, not to re-encroach on the railway traffic safety corridor and not to arbitrarily open new passages. People are instructed to use the nearest legal passage to ensure safety for themselves and their vehicles when passing.
The leader of the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police said that in the coming time, the Traffic Police Department will continue to coordinate with the railway industry to review and thoroughly handle self-opened paths in the area, aiming to build a safe and civilized railway traffic system, serving the interests of the people.
