As a vegetable seller at Duong Noi market, Ms. Nguyen Thu said that there are two common types of radish: white radish or sugar radish, harvested in autumn and winter, and red radish, usually available in spring and summer.

"It's currently the main season for white radish. White radish is usually harvested from August to September, when the radish reaches its ideal size and has a delicious sweet taste," said Ms. Thu.
