Specifically, on November 14, ABBank announced the appointment of Mr. Vu Van Tien as Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) to replace Mr. Dao Manh Khang for the remaining term of 2023-2027.
Mr. Tien was born in 1959 and is said to have a bachelor's degree in economics . He joined the bank's Board of Directors in 2003 and held the position of chairman from 2005 to 2018. Currently, Mr. Tien is Vice Chairman of the bank's Board of Directors.
According to regulations, to return to the chairmanship, Mr. Tien must resign from the position of Chairman and General Director of Geleximco Group. In his place, Geleximco elected Mr. Vu Van Hau (currently Deputy General Director) to take over Mr. Tien's positions at the company. Mr. Hau is the younger brother of Mr. Vu Van Tien, and is currently the General Director of Viettronics. At Geleximco, Mr. Vu Van Tien is still the Chairman of the Founding Council of this group.
The bank also appointed Mr. Le Manh Hung, born in 1979, as General Director, replacing Mr. Pham Duy Hieu.
Dien Quang Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: DQC) recently appointed Ms. Ly Luong Hong as General Director and Legal Representative of Dien Quang Thong Minh Company Limited (DQSmart) from December 18, replacing Mr. Pham Le Minh who has held this position since the beginning of 2023.
It is known that Mr. Pham Le Minh has been the Chief Technology Officer of DQC and General Director of DQSmart since the company's inception. Mr. Minh joined DQC in July 2017 and has been in charge of the IoT sector for many years, and also participated in the management of the Vietnam Smart City Development Alliance.

Bao Minh Securities Joint Stock Company (stock code: BMS) has just finalized the last registration date to organize the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025, expected in December.
At this meeting, shareholders will consider dismissing independent member of the Board of Directors Do Van Ha and two members of the Supervisory Board Truong Thi Bich Ngan and Moc Thi Lan Uyen. Previously, these three personnel submitted their resignations on November 10 and 12, respectively, for work reasons.
Similarly, SMC Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (stock code: SMC) has announced the last registration date to exercise the right to collect shareholders' opinions in writing. The expected implementation time is from December 17 to December 31 at the company's headquarters.
Specifically, the company sought shareholders' opinions on the dismissal of three members of the Board of Directors, namely Mr. Fujitsuka Masahiko (Japanese nationality), Mr. Vu Anh Nguyen and Mr. Nguyen Huu Kinh Luan, and at the same time dismissed a member of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung. These members have all submitted their resignations.

Meanwhile, VietinBank Securities Joint Stock Company ( VietinBank Securities, stock code: CTS) has just announced that it has received the resignation letter from Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Thuy as a member of the Board of Directors. Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Thuy was elected to the Board of Directors at the annual general meeting of shareholders held in April. Due to some personal reasons, Ms. Thuy has resigned from the above position.
