According to the Ministry of Education and Training , resolving errors is the responsibility of the schools. If necessary, the Ministry will support, guide and direct other universities to coordinate in handling the situation.

After listening to feedback on major errors of a number of higher education institutions, the Ministry of Education and Training has promptly directed and guided, and so far most of the errors have been resolved in accordance with regulations.

Previously, a series of candidates at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education reported to Dan Tri newspaper that although they exceeded the admission score, they still had to run around everywhere to fill out applications to resolve "system errors".

In just one afternoon, nearly 30 candidates sent information to Dan Tri, hoping for support to find justice.

Families and candidates are worried as if sitting on hot coals, if they do not receive accurate results to confirm admission to lower choices, the university door this year will be closed to them.

They were candidates who happily announced to their families, relatives, friends, and neighbors: "I passed the university entrance exam". However, just a few days later, when the Ministry of Education and Training asked candidates to confirm their admission, many were "shocked" by the words: "Failed".

“I was worried and depressed, my whole family went everywhere to find a solution. I also called the school dozens of times but the phone was busy or no one picked up,” Duy Duc ( Dong Thap ) recounted.

According to Dan Tri reporter, not only in the South, many universities in Hanoi also have this situation.

According to an admissions expert at a public university in Ho Chi Minh City, this year, errors in processing applications occurred at many schools. In particular, the expert's unit also received a letter from another school requesting to accept candidates due to errors in the virtual filtering process.

On August 24, the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training sent a notice to training institutions and departments of education and training with instructions on admission scores.

In particular, the Department emphasized: "For admission announcements, training institutions are requested to clearly state that admission scores are the most important legal basis, and the list attached to the decision can be adjusted if errors are detected."

In order for candidates to confirm their admission, the Ministry of Education and Training requires all training institutions to review the list of admitted candidates and upload them to the system.

The Department of Higher Education requires that unqualified candidates absolutely not be posted on the System. Training institutions must be fully responsible for the accuracy and explanation (if any) of this list.
